Boule is a new lighting collection for German producer Pulpo inspired by the popular outdoor game in France. Getting 10 years old this year, Pulpo is working with the studio Sebastian Herkner already for many years. Boule is the second lamp we designed for the brand, using this time various glass spheres. We initiated also a collaboration with Rosenthal, the well-known porcelain manufacturer from Bavaria, who is responsible for the production of the bases of Boule. Both material together, the mouth-blown glass and the casted porcelain gives to the design an sophisticated and elegant attitude.
